Derek Moore has over eight years of experience as an insurance adjuster prior to becoming an attorney. As an independent adjuster and claims investigator, he handled a wide range of property, casualty, and auto claims for major insurance companies including Allstate, State Farm, Kemper, and Derek graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2006. There he earned a rare A+ in tort law (the basis for most personal injury claims). Also while in law school he interned for the Torts Division at the City of Now, as an attorney, armed with this experience from the other side, he fights to make sure injured individuals obtain fair treatment and just compensation from insurance companies, government entities, and self-insured corporations. He handles a wide variety of injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions, construction site injuries, premises liability, and product liability cases. He also has a Masters in Business Administration and an economics background which he uses in making claims involving complex economic losses, such as determining losses to a small business owner due to his or her injury.
